Peyton received his Bachelor's from Florida State University where he participated in the Pre-Law program. During his time at FSU, Peyton served as Class President of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity and as a faculty-appointed student judge on the Academic Honor Policy Hearings Panel. After FSU, Peyton decided to come to South Florida and received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law. During his time at Miami Law, Peyton served as a Student Bar Association Senator and also founded and served as President of the Miami Law chapter of the Cannabis Law League. Mr. Pipes was also a member of the Business Law Society and the Alliance Against Human Trafficking during his time at Miami Law.

Peyton has found a specialty in providing guidance to businesses in highly regulated industries such as cannabis, agriculture, alcohol, food and beverage, firearm manufacturing, and life sciences. He has had the privilege of working with some of Florida's most successful MMTCs (licenses to grow, process, and sell medical cannabis) and cannabis brands as well as craft alcohol and hemp brands. Peyton is often asked by potential investors to evaluate cannabis companies for potential legal and compliance issues or liabilities.
